Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WE have often had occasion to draw attention to the merits of the mobile showroom as a means for bringing to the notice of the buying public the various products which are marketed by business houses. As a rule, the vehicles which are used for such purposes are self-contained, but in the case of the outfit which is employed by the South Wales Electrical Power Distribution Co., of 27, Newport Road, Cardiff; the. company finds that its needs are well met by using a specially equipped trailer.

We publish on this page illustrations of the outfit and in one it will be seen hitched up to a Morris-Commercial 30-cwt. lorry, whilst in show grounds it is often hauled by an industrial tractor.

Daring the present summer this trailer has been used for visiting a number of agricultural shows, and it will be in, evidence at Cowbiidge, on September 11th, when the .Vale of Glamorgan Show is held, proceeding a week later to the St. Mellons Agricultural Show. In the winter it is intended to have the trailer taken around numerous villages in the power company's electric-lighting areas.

Both sides and ends of the trailer are constructed so that they can be made to open, about two-thirds of each section which opens upward lain.= hinged at the top and forming what might be termed an awning. The lower portion of each section opens downward, being hinged at the floor-level, and it can either be allowed to fall down, thus obscuring the wheels, or it can be supported in a horizontal position, thus extending the floor and making available a greater space for the exhibition of goods.

The wiring for heating and power is carried under-a detachable false floor, which is built in three sections; to flush-type three-pin plug sockets sunk in the floor. The lighting wiring is in the roof, consisting of movable battens, which can be shifted to any part ; one batten holds 12 shop-window fittings, with three switches controlling different colours, whilst another holds a selection of shades.

Electrical apparatus of all kinds can be exhibited and demonstrations given in the open trailer. At a recent show the company displayed a very comprehensive exhibit, including an electrical refrigerator, ice-cream freezer, cooker, washing machine, vacuum sweepers, radiators, ate.
