Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Freightliner continues to integrate European technology into its north American product line. The Mercedes-Benz subsidiary chose Mid-America to unveil a 46,000lb (21 tonne) ver sion of ECAS, called Airliner.

The electronically controlled air suspension system designed by Wabco and Mercedes was first shown by Freightliner last year on a 6x2 lift-axle Business Class chassis.

The new product forms the basis of a double drive bogie for heavy haulage. Freightliner says the design is ideal for the severe conditions experienced in Mexico and Australia.

Freightliner also launched a new medium conventional Class-8, the Business Class FL-112. The truck will compete in the fast-growing regional haulage sector as well as in intermodal, shipping and construction sectors.
