• Scottish Bus Group subsidiary Western Scottish of Kilmarnock, has acquired three Peugeot Talbot tri-axle Freeway minibuses for use on DialA-Bus services under contract to Strathclyde Passenger 'Transport Executive.
The three vehicles, supplied through Melvin Motors of Glasgow, are fitted with a wheelchair lift, 12 seats, and highly conspicuous handrails.
The minibuses will be used principally on SPTE contract work for the next five years, but they all carry Western Scottish's black, white and red livery. They are based at Western's Kilmarnock depot and service three districts in North Ayrshire.
