• Four new types of single-decker bus are in service with London Buses in a 12-month trial which could determine its singledeck purchasing policy for years to come.
The vehicles are a Northern Counties turbocharged Renault, two Optare Deltas on Dal Chassis, two Leyland Lynxes and a Walter Alexander-bodied Scania.
Project manager Justin Laney says: "There are no firm plans to go ahead and buy any — we will make that decision in the future."
