Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Austrian manufacturer G Kremen of Linz has introduced an unusual airoperated tipping system that uses the compressed air supply normally available from most 1IG V chassis.

The Kremen system, which is suitable for side tipping bodies, taps the existing vehicle's air lines via an additional reservoir and uses a short-stroke piston encased in a neoprene bellows.

To tip the body air is admitted between the base housing and tipping membrane, pushing the pistons outwards.

Kremen's low cost, lightweight system is said to be suitable for air-braked trailer operation. even when detached from the towing truck.

A Steyr 12S91 17-tonner and trailer with this type of pneumatic tipper bodywork has entered service with an Austrian agricultural cooperative.
