A double-headed penny, which has hitherto been the exclusive preserve of the Inland Revenue, has been presented to Mike Brearley, England's cricket captain, and members of the team by Mike Hoffman, chairman and managing director of Perkins Engines. He has given them also a portable crematorium or "doit-yourself Ashes machine".
The presentations commemorated England's test success in Australia and Perkins' sponsorship of the team. The company wants to continue to sponsor -England's most successful sporting squad", which in its
