VISITORS to the Institute of Solid Wastes Management Conference and Exhibition at Scarborough from 19 to 22 June will see a collection of six Dodge-based municipal vehicles. Five of the models will be based on the Dodge 100 Series Commando range with sweeper, gulley emptier and refuse collector bodies.
The sixth model is to be a lightweight refuse collector based on one of a brand new range of Dodge vehicles to be announced shortly before the conference.
Also new to Scarborough will be the Solid Waste Engineering Ltd Tip-a Lift large capacity mobile skip loader which made its debut at the 1978 Motor Show and the new Rotapac 150 Compactor.
