CLIFTON DAIRIES has been granted permission to base seven vehicles at Ambrose Hall Farm in Woodplumpton, Preston subject to the following conditions and undertakings: ● vehicles shall enter and exit the operating centre in forward gear at all times; ● the operator will ensure the vegetation along Ambrose Hall Lane is regularly trimmed back so as not to compromise visibility; ● Clifton Dairies will regularly trim back the tall hedge to the right on exiting Ambrose Hall Lane to ensure visibility in that direction is not compromised; ● safety inspections will be planned and never more than six weeks apart. Preventive maintenance inspection reports will be fully and properly completed and show rectiication; ● there will be a nil defect daily driver reporting system. Defect reports will show rectiication; ● all authorised vehicles and trailers will have a rolling road brake test every alternate pre-maintenance inspection; ● maintenance systems, maintenance documentation and vehicle inspections will be audited by the Road Haulage Association after nine months and then at 12 monthly intervals. Audit reports will be prepared and acted on; ● all vehicles will have a thorough pre-MoT inspection; ● vehicles shall not exceed 10 mph along Ambrose Hall Lane.
