The Samara features rackand-pinion steering, dual, diagnoally split servo-assisted brake circuits, MacPherson strut independent suspension, adjustable halogen headlights and internally adjustable door mirrors. To improve allweather performance Lada has fitted a 55amp alternator and a 55Ah low-maintenance battery.

The new model is covered by a manufacturer's one-year/ 80,000Imi warranty on parts and labour, plus a six-year anticorrosion guarantee.
