Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• You report that buses have been privatised, but could I make the following observation. They are privatised, but not de-nationalised. There are no returns to old liveries.

For example, the Western Welsh, now known as National Welsh, has not returned to its colours (see Commercial Motor cover 18 June 1954).

One wonders if the non return to old colours is an indication that they are still owned by one source, thus the retention of the national liveries. A R Velve, Neath, West Glamorgan.
