At the same time, Penta's commercial vehicle company is expanding its customer service by introducing a service and parts operation.
• EATED POOLE • Webasto, the Munich-based manufacturer of independent vehicle heaters, has set up a UK subsidiary based at Poole in Dorset.
As part of the move, Webasto has broken its links with Hefac Engineering in order to go direct to the market.
Webasto has already gained a foothold in the UK with its partner Tudor Webasto which markets sunroofs. A possible third UK product line could be air conditioners for trucks and coaches.
