Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• As predicted by Commercial Motor (7-13 July issue), Ford has announced the availability of two special editions of the Escort and Fiesta "Laser" vans.

Both vans have the 1.6-litre [Dl diesel engine and a fivespeed gearbox, with special coachwork and interior finishes. The Fiesta Laser costs £5,377 (ex-VAT) and the Escort Laser costs £6,531 (ex-VAT).

The Fiesta Laser is finished in white or silver, with white wheelcovers, special body mouldings and badging. Other Laser features include clothtrimmed seats, matching door trims and head restraints. The Escort Laser has darkgrey lower panels and a choice of white, red, or silver for the upper body, with its 509 door mirrors finished in the final choice of paint, and wheelcovers and special badges like those of the Fiesta. There is a cloth trim to the seats, doors, and adjustable head restraints.
