Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Stoke-on-Trent-based storage and transport contracts company Longton has won its first major deal since a 21.5 million management buyout last December.

It is supplying two Scanias, a P113 32-tonne artic (pictured) and a P93 24-tonne rigid, and drivers to Redfearn Flexpack of Bury. Both vehicles are liveried in Redfearn's colours. Longton will also provide a 16tonne Leyland Daf.

Longton Storage and Transport, and its sister company Bulk Storage, were bought out by a management team of five last year from parent Thomson T-Line. They took on total assets of £5.6 million and debts of £4.6 million to form a holding company, Birch Group.

The contract with Redfearn will operate from Redfearn's Bury site and will be controlled from Longton's Bolton depot.
