Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Independent Express, the national parcels carrier, has won a major contract worth around £75,000 with Standard Fireworks in the run-up to Bonfire Night.

The bulk of the contract is for deliveries of fireworks to wholesalers and retailers, and to large individual displays, throughout the South and Midlands.

The Huddersfield-based firework company has chosen Independent's 72-hour guaranteed service for the job, but will also use the 48-hour service as required. Nearer 5 November, urgent deliveries will go via the 24-hour service.

The contract also involves smaller deliveries of such products as farmers' bird scaring devices, and construction industry smoke generators used for testing leaks.

Standard Fireworks transports distribution and storage manager Alan Hunt says: "Independent is geared to dealing with our type of goods and this could easily become a regular part of our annual contract.
