• Barr and Wallace Arnold Trust, parent of coach company Wallace Arnold Tours, increased profits from £609,000 to £814,000 in the half-year to the end of June.
Wallace Arnold's tour divisions cut their losses from £303,000 to £185,000 in the six months. The Barr and Wallace Arnold group owns coach companies in Leeds and Devon which operate 97 and 55 vehicles respectively.
It also has a tanker distributor which is based in Halifax, Wayahead Fuels, which runs 16 vehicles.
