THE MANAGEMENT line-up of the watercooled division of Deutz Engines has been completed with the appointment of new general manager, John Adams, and project manager David Andrews.
Mr Adams joins Deutz from British Polar Engines. A chartered mechanical and marine engineer, he has wide experience in the diesel and engineering markets in the UK and overseas. His previous companies include Stal-Laval and MAN UK.
Mr Andrews, project manager — petrochemical and international, has extensive experience in the construction and petrochemical industries.
Also new to Deutz, but on its aircooled engine side is David Nickolls. He joins as service manager, replacing E. Ludorf, who has returned to Germany to take up a new post with the parent group.
He joins from Volvo Penta UK where he worked for eight years, six of them as UK service manager.
