Vest Midlands area has deed that it will finance a nd despite an RHA cutive board decision that association will not be resented at the show.

'he decision was taken on lay at a meeting of the area finance committee after members were incensed by the national decision not to go ter the show.

And now they have decided to back their judgement with hard cash for the construction of the stand and it seems likely that the area will rent space to other RHA bodies including finance and insurance services to help offset the cost.
Now the RHA is faced with a golden opportunity to represent the operator at the show because the Freight Transport Association has decided not to take space.
Despite the national decision of the RHA, the West Midlands go-it-alone action is still being called the Road Haulage Association stand and it is this that is expected to stir the board into action.
The stand is expected to cost under £500.
