Getting goods vehicles through the annual test is an all too familiar problem. Many vehicles fail the test for a mechanical defect that should have been spotted in the maintenance bay.
The Crane Fruehauf service division is now offering servicing and testing facilities for semitrailers, catering for the DoE test requirements. They undertake to provide a comprehensive service for semi-trailers and to guarantee a successful DoE test on a no-pass/no-fee basis. The guarantee service scheme can be arranged as part of a regular maintenance schedule or as a single service prior to testing or plating. The pretest scheme incorporates the same checks as those of the DoE test.
