• Merseyside PTE on Tuesday took delivery of the first of 20 Metro-Scania buses at Liverpool's Pier Head. Handing over the first bus on behalf of the builders was the chairman of the company, Mr A. H. San some. It was received by Ald. W. Sefton, MPTE chairman, and Mr Albert Burrows, directorgeneral.
