IMPROVED wet-road grip and longer life Iare claimed for the new Avon Routemaster truck tyre which has a sipecl tread pattern having specially designed grooves that enhance grip on wet surfaces. Special shoulders afford high resistance to kerbing damage, while improved wearing properties are provided by the use of a toughened tread compound. Made by: Avon Rubber Co. Ltd., Melksham, Wilts.
