Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW battery-electric—the. Helecs 1-1 Intruder—will be shown at Earls Court by Hindle Smart and Co., Ltd., Merefield Works, Ardwick„ • Manchester, 12. Designed for a payload of 25 cwt., the chassis has a boot frame braced KY tubular cross-Members. Girling hydro-mechanical brakes are fitted, with t tension-type master cylinder: -A -new, pull-on leyer is used for the hand brake, the lever being mounted on the dash hoard, thus leaving the floor unobstructed. The contrbl unit comprises a four-speed contactor, a '-compensated differential• link controller, and' a five-bank resistance unit".

The ,unit assembly. of these • components enables any. individual unit or the whole three to be removed in a matter of minutes. The controller gives an automatic sequence of speed selection, at a governed rate, which is not affected by variations of the ambient temperature or by thefrequency of operation.

The heavy-duty split-rim disc wheels are equipped with 23 by 5-in. lowloader tyres. Improved visibility is a feature of the body, which has a lowset curved-bottom windscreen, with glazed side panels in the cab.

The picture on the left will show the success which has attended the maker's efforts to get away from the box-like appearance of the bodywork of the average battery-electric vehicle. .
