THERE will be 250 exhibitors at thc 1 Public Works and Municipal Services Congress and Exhibition, to be held at Olympia, London, from November 13-18. It will, for the first time, embrace what were formerly two national events held in alternate years— the Public-Works, Roads and•Transport Congress and Exhibition •alid. the Public Health and. Municipal' Services Con-„ gress and ExhibitiOn=and will thus cover the whole field of local-government activity. Local authorities have appointed over 900 delegates to attend.
An important section will be devoted to vehicles and equipment for public cleansing and machines for building and other purposes; fire fighting will also 13e covered. Prize-winning and otherpapers will be presented at the
COrigrcSS.
