1T is understood that the A.C.V. group 1 has produced two new underfloorengined passenger chassis to partner the A.E.C. Regal Mark IV. One is a Maudslay and the other is a Crossley. The Maudslay, known as the G.S. Marathon Mark IV, is a surprise, but "-The Commercial Motor" has known of the Crossley project for about six months, • Its existence was recently denied, but there is reason to believe that an example of it will appear at the Commercial Motor Show this month.

The new Maudslay, which has a wheelbase of 17 ft. 6 ins., and is 32 ft. 6 ins, long and 8 ft. wide, will be seen at Earls Court as a 39-seater service bus with body by Park Royal Vehicles, Ltd. The chassis is likely to be based substantially on the A.E.C. Regal .MUrk 1V, but further details of its construc-: tion are unknown.
