The demand for motor ships continues to show a steady increase. Owing to the reliability and great economy of the internal-combustion-engined vessel, on both long and short sea routes, there . is rapid movement towards their universal adoption.
Authoritative information regarding recent developments in motor ship construction is given in The Motor Ship. which is the only British journal dealing exclusively with the subject.
