A quiet state of affairs continues to prevail in the trade in commercial vehicles in the Irish Free State, only 18 vehicles, valued at £2,995, having been imported during May last, as contrasted with 59 vehicles (£22,218) in the same month a year ago. The total imports for the first five months of the year are officially returned at only 79 vehicles of a value of £18,453, these figures contrasting with 233 and £77,929 respectively in the corresponding period of 1924.
