At a meeting of the tramways committee of the Oldham. Corporation the general manager presented his observations on the report of the Ministry of Transport's inspector on his inspection of the trolley vehicle route authorized under the Ashton-under-Lyne Corporation Act, 1924, and instructions were given for the town clerk to press (1)
for the vehicles as built to be sanctioned, and (2) for the speed limit in Ashton Road, Oldham, to be raised to 16 miles per hour.
