Return is a novel campaign launched by the old folks charity to raise money this autumn — old 78rpm records are being collected and passed on to an expert record collector for valuation.
Group 4 Nightspeed is distributing boxes to house the records to 350 collection points throughout the country and is also sponsoring an enquiry line for people who want to donate records.
The charity hopes to unearth some rare and valuable items which can be sold to collectors nationwide — it need look no further than the Hawk, always a music buff of the first water.
