• Warrington-based Carrier Transicold has developed an undermount trailer refrigeration unit designed to suit 30 to 60m' truck/trailer combinations.
The Summit 722U is 570mm deep and has a capacity of 3,800 watts at -20°C and 7,000 watts at 0°C. It has a three-way valve heating and defrost system allowing it to be used for temperatures from +12°C to -25°C and uses HCFC-22 refrigerant which is allowed under environmental legislation until 2040.
