An addition to the tubular support equipment for use with semi-trailers when the tractive unit is removed, has been announced by Dunsley Mfg (Kinver) Ltd.

The support is a ratchet head utilizing a Tangye-Shelley lifting device. It is said to be suitable for use with each of the standard range of heads already offered by the company for differing applications.

A full ratchet support assembly with a lifting capacity of 10 tons is 3ft 6in. to 4ft high, giving lift of 6in. by manipulation of the ratchet handle. It is designed for use in pairs but can be supplied singly.
