• There are still just a few places left for the CM seminar "Selection and maintenance of commercial vehicles" at the London International Hotel on October 6 and 7. Subjects include the effects of future legislation; depreciation; metrication; contract maintenance; cost aspects of service and maintenance; financing vehicle purchase; workshop layout, building and equipment; and vehicle support services.
The speakers include Mr John Furness (DoE), Mr J. E. Farley (Tate and Lyle Transport), Mn. Olsen (UDT); Mr Adarn McCaig (Mayerete), Mr A. W. Balne (lawyer and consultant); Mr Keith Farquharson (ShellMex and BP); and Mr Gibb Grace (CM).
The fee for this two-day conference is £50 per person. It is being repeated at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, on November 3 and 4.
