Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW light alloy with a surface that is permanently bright and does not corrode or peel has been produced by the British Aluminium Co., Ltd. It was used for the first time for the trim of the Mann Egerton integral lorry and for the bumpers of two Duple coaches which are at the Commercial Motor Show.

The metal is an extremelY pure-based magnesium alloy which is electrically treated by the Brytal process. A film homogenous with the parent metal is produced and in the event of damage it would be affected only locally.

Warm soapy water is used for cleaning, followed by washing with clean cold water. It is important that no metal polish or abrasives should be used, as these will damage the film. Sections must be shaped for treating.
