Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I T is understood that Leyland Motors, • Ltd., have been approached by the London Transport Executive to build two prototypes of Routemaster design. The drawings and specification are to be provided by London Transport and it is probable that the bodies will be built by Metropolitan Cammell Weymann, Ltd. Leyland engines and transmission components are to be fitted.

The chassisless 64-seat Routemaster exhibited at the Commercial Motor Show was evolved by L.T.E. and constructed in association with A.E.C.. Ltd., and Park Royal Vehicles, Ltd. It has an unladen weight of approximately 6 tons 14 cwt.

During the Show, which ends tomorrow, Leyland Motors, Ltd., have their prototype rear-engined doubledecker (illustrated in The Commercial 'Motor on July 23) at their depot at Boreharn Wood and interested operators are being taken to inspect it.
