• Bristol Street Motors has installed a tracking IRT infra-red paint drying system which, it says, is the first in the UK.
Drying a fully resprayed carderived van takes about half an hour. Another 40 minutes outside the booth is needed for cooling — the booth itself does not require heating. Where only certain panels are resprayed on the vehicle, only the corresponding sections of the arch's infra red heaters are turned on.
