• 'Me introduction of the new front-wheel-drive Volkswagen Transporter will be staggered through the first three quarters of 1991. First arrival will be the short-wheelbase panel vans, with the 1,000kg version due in January and the 800kg variant in February.
Buyers looking for the longwheelbase van will have to wait until June for the standard-roof 1,000kg version, with the highroof model expected in September.
