Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A low cost chemical foam application unit called Jetafoam has been introduced by Spray Systems. When the new unit is connected to air and water supplies it draws in the chemical from an unpressurised container, dilutes it and applies the foam to the vehicle.

Water supply can be from a normal domestic tap with usage around 3.5 litimin (six pints). Air requirement is between two and 3.3 bar (30-50psi), although pressures up to 5.5 bar (80psi) can be used.

A metering tip in the chemical pick-up pipe sets the dilution level to five or 10%, and an air valve on the gun can be adjusted to give wet or dry foam, The Jetafoam costs £96 plus VAT.
