• Kamaz diesel trucks which can bum natural gas are being tested in the Soviet Union. In the first 10 minutes after it is started the engine burns oil in order to heat it up; then natural gas is fed into it. The new engine can work on both diesel fuel and on a mixture of 20% oil and 80% natural gas without loss of power, and produces around 60% less exhaust gases then a conventional engine. Production will start soon.
