AN INITIAL order for 26 nel Plaxton coach bodies has bee placed by Shearings Plea sureways Holidays of Altrincl ham, Cheshire.
The 11m coach bodies are t be mounted on 23 Ford Rill and three Leyland Leopard chal sis and will be used on the corr pany's expanding holiday pt.( gramme and the Britis Coachways express network.
Managing director Joh Beaumont told CM that the corr pany had never been busier the Transport Act has allowed to establish new demands, e), pand into new catchment area and extend its overseas tour prc gramme.
Heavyweight coaches hay' been bought to complement th, Ford fleet and these will operat: on longer distance tours Intl Europe and, on occasions, 01 British Coachways services.
