DEVELOPED for use in severe 4Ipine conditions, Noskyds snow straps, unlike snow chains, are said to combine tough tungsten carbide studs in a strong lightweight harness which can be fitted without removing the wheel.
A range of sizes cover Minis to light panel vans at a cost of £40 to £80 per pair, and the straps are marketed by Eurotypes Ltd, Ilminster, Somerset, for sale in the UK.
