THE proprietor of a threecoach business called before the Eastern Traffic Commissioners to show cause why his psv licence should not be revoked after a DoE test revealed 16 faults in these vehicles, said that he had now arranged for monthly checks.
Mr Alec Easy, of Cherryholt Avenue, March, Cambs, said that he had been working full-time at Perkins Engines, but had now left his full-time worl and was devoting more film to his business.
The Commissioners sai( his licence would not b4 withdrawn but that he had tt improve maintenanci facilities.
One vehicle, it was stated had had eight defects another six and the thin two. There were no garag buildings for the vehicle and no inspection pit on th premises.
