RED WARNING triangles used in the roadway to warn of a temporary obstruction will be allowed if they bear an approval mark as designated by Regulation 2 of the Motor Vehicles (Designation of approval Marks) Regulations 1974 SI 764. The proposed amendments to the present Traffic Sigm (Temporary Obstructions; Regulations 1966 have been circulated for comment by the Departmeni of the Environment. Under the present Regulations. only those triangles bearing the British Standard specification BS AU4 1965 may be used.
