A tyre repair outfit introduced by Apaseal Ltd. is designed for operating the Bowes Seal-Fast process applicable to the repair of car and commercial-vehicle inner tubes, covers and tubeless tyres. The contents comprise a tyre-bench with two cornpartments (including display rack and tool holder), Multi-Ply tube and tubeless repair cabinet, tyre dough kit, No. 30 assortment of X-Flex Sections, Multi-Plast tubeless tyre repair kit, a small tyre spreader, cover buffer, section roller, wire-buffing brush, skiving knife, knife sharpening stone, round buffing rasp, • 1 6oz Aerosol Buffezy and a buffing arm.

The X-Flex sections are feather-edged repair sections of very light weight but are tough and flexible. They are suitable for repairing breaks in tubeless and conventional tyres of from twoto eight-ply construction. The sections are reinforced with pre-stretched nYlon cord at an angle of 45deg and will replace broken cords, stop cold road impact and flex fatigue.-They will also eliminate thump.

The sections are made in four sizes, namely nailhole (one-ply) 2iin. diameter, small (two-ply) dia.: medium (four-ply) 4.5/16in. dia.; large (four-ply) 5.7 /1 6in. die.

The outfit includes a work bench which provides facilities keeping altogether, ready to hand and in clean condition, the tools and materials necessary for repairs.
