Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A de-icing fluid—claimed to differ from other car de-icers. in that it is fully effective at below-freezing temperatures— has been introduced by Simoniz.

The de-icer, which has been proved in the northern regions of Scandinavia, is the result of extensive research into the problems caused by icing-up in extremely low temperatures. The product now includes a new formula ingredient that guards against the possibility of re-icing after application until the windscreen is absolutely dry.

Apart from de-freezing locks, doors and windows instantly, the de-icer is also effective as a demister. A further advantage is that it leaves no smears.

The de-icer is marketed in a 10oz aerosol container. One can, it is said, should last the entire winter under average British weather conditions.
