Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Two steel radial-ply tyres for commercial vehicles introduced by Dunlop Co. Ltd, are known as the Roadtrak and the R86. The Roadtrak has been designed for long life both on and off the road and is introduced after an intersive period of development and testing.

This new steel radial has a hard wearing tread pattern ensuring maximum road life coup led with a strong resistance to impact fractures and tread cut ting on loose surfaces. Touch shoulder-lugs provide all the grip necessary for off the road opera tions, while the radial construction ensures smooth, cool running under all conditions.

A feature of the Roadtrak is the use of stronger steel cords in the breakers which gives improved resistance to impact damage and punctures. The tyre is available in two sizes, 9.0020 and 10.00-20.

The RB6 is an all-steel radial tyre of tubeless construction for commercial vehicles, offering a considerable mileage advantage over cross-ply tyres, together with some fuel saving. The tyre runs cooler than tubed tyres and is easier to fit and balance.

The main advantage of the RB6 is its weight-saving and simplicity. No tube or flap is required and both the cover and one-piece wheel are lighter than those they replace. Depending on the size of the tyre, a saving of about 30Ib in weight per tyre can be achieved. On the wheels of two-axled vehicles this means an advantage of between 200 and 2701b, and for a four-axled vehicle, between 370 and 5001b. As a tube and flap is not necessary, maintenance and storage space is greatly reduced. Made by Dunlop Co. Lta., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham 24.
