the Measuring Instruments (Liquid Fuel and Lubricants) (Amendments No. 2) Regulations 1968, which are designed to assist the introduction of fuelling equipment with an indicator mechanism designed to be quickly convertible to register in metric quantities.
The effect of the Regulations is to increase the permitted tolerances on the initial testing and passing of petrol measuring instruments from 1 to fluid oz in excess in respect of deliveries of 0.5gal and lgal quantities.
