• H. V. Maycock, Lanchester, will have his vehicles reinstated as and when they are repaired and ready for the road. Last month five of his seven vehicles were deleted from his licence under Section 177 but at a Section 178 inquiry in Newcastle on Friday, Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon, Northern LA, heard that Mr. Maycock's illness had been the cause of the fleet's deterioration.
