Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• More orders have been received for the Daimler Fleetline 36ft single-deck bus chassis which was announced at the end of last year and which made its debut at Earls Court in September. One of the Show exhibits was a dual entrance one-man bus with Alexander body, in the colours of Dundee Corporation Transport, whose order for 25 36ft Fleetlines has already been announced. This bus will be used by Daimler as a demonstration vehicle.

New orders are a repeat from Leeds City Transport for a further 15, making a total of 30, and one from Maidstone and District Motor Services Ltd. for 30, all of which will have front entrance and central exit bodies. Both operators already have Daimler Fleetline double-deckers in service and the new single-deckers will provide a high degree of standardization unequalled since the early post-war years when it was still common practice for singleand doubledeck bus chassis from the same manufacturer to have many common features on the front, half-cab vertical-engined models then in vogue.
