• A residential course in road haulage management is being held at Holly Royde College, Palatine Road, Manchester, from November 26-28, the fee being 18gns. Application forms may be obtained from the secretary of the College.
There is an evening session on road haulage provisions of the Transport Bill on November 26, and business sessions during the following two days will cover aspects of management training. Speakers have been drawn from the Ministry of Transport, the ,RTITB, educational establishments and the transport industry.
Case studies in road haulage management training will be presented by Mr, J. Smurthwaite of SPD Ltd., Mr. J. M. Silbermann of the Brent Group of Companies Ltd. and Mr. J. Mather of BRS Ltd.
