• The final Standard List for the Ministry of Transport goods vehicle plating and testing scheme was published last week. It is Part ixib) relating to trailers manufactured by Crane Fruehauf and is available from HMSO, price 15s.

The Standard Lists give the maximum gross weights, individual axle weights and, in the case of articulated vehicles, maximum "train" weights for most standard types of load-carrying goods vehicles and trailers within the scope of the testing scheme.
