rtA FIRE-ENGINE with several new features has been built by H.C.B. Engineering, Ltd., Totton, Southamp-. ton. It is designed to incorporate a Dodge or Bedford 10-ft.-wheelbase chassis. The chassis is converted from normal to full forward• control.
New features include a sliding cab door for speedy access by the crew of seven. All the pumps and equipment are enclosed by a one-piece sliding shutter designed and manufactured by H.C.B. The cab is separated from the body and is flexibly mounted to relieve stresses when traversing rough country.
A 500-g.p.m. pump is mounted at the
