• SDC has three main plants:
Antrim in NI: Fabricates all chassis for Ireland and the UK. Toomebridge in NI: The main chassis assembly site for all Irish product. It currently produces 65 trailers a week of all types— up from 53 in 2000.
Mandleld in England (the old Neville Charraid site): Assembles curtainsiders, flats, boxes for the UK and tippers using chassis from Antrim. Mansfield is SDC's 'aluminium welding skill centre", producing five tippers a week II SIX has 385 direct employees across all three sites.
